Portland, Oregon Study
A clinical research project was held in Portland, Oregon in 2001. Fourteen parents and children came to a lecture on ADD and ADHD. All became part of the Documentary and began the 12-week program. Most participated in the bloodtest and proceeded to learn to eat a balanced diet. Those who completed the study and followed the program had tremendous results. Some started but did not finish due to difficulty giving up a high sugar diet. Others did not start, after wanting to do so, as they soon found how addicted they were to high carbohydrate foods and decided it was too hard to give them up. Congratulations to those who stuck with the program--they found out that to eat a balanced diet took a couple of weeks to become a natural way of eating, but once they made the shift, it became a way of life.
